Edward Povey declines all exhibitions and goes into artistic seclusion to explore new approaches to his paintings. Sales to private collectors - at ever increasing prices - via Povey Studio lectures continue. Povey accepts and completes several major commissions for private collectors internationally.

Thirty year retrospective tour of past and present works. Culminates in a live performance by the artist to a sold out crowd - during which, Povey tells the story of his life and career: a career that has inspired and delighted the public for nearly four decades.
